What We Do

Currently, we are implementing our programmes in five thematic areas;

1. Give a Hand Department (GAHD)

Our work is towards supporting an Orphan, needy and Vulnerable Child. The department ensures that every child’s physical, emotional, and spiritual needs are met. It is through His provision and guidance that this department continues to thrive. Bellow are the activities:

Child Protection Programs

  • Identifying and supporting vulnerable children under our support and at-risk through community outreach.
  • Offering counselling services and psychosocial support.
  • Raising awareness on children’s rights and preventing child abuse, neglect, and exploitation.
  • Partnering with local leaders to establish child safeguarding frameworks.

Education Support Initiatives

  • Providing school materials such as books, uniforms, and stationery to underprivileged children.
  • Sponsoring school fees for orphans and children’s needy families.
  • Organizing tutoring and after-school programs to improve academic performance.

2. Educare Department (EcD)

Support foundational education for young learners:

In Uganda, attending school is not, so many children stay at home. Those who do go to school may only be able to attend for a few years, resulting in primary classrooms where students’ ages range from 10 to 18. Government schools are often overcrowded, with as many as 100 to 200 children in a single class, usually sitting on the floor and taught by just one teacher.

In contrast, children under our support at keilah Junior school receive free education, healthcare, and welfare support. School attendance is generally high, and young pupils benefit from the help of teaching assistants

3. Health and Wellness Department (HAWD)

Join our efforts to promote health and wellness:

As an Organisation it is our dream and belief that every human being is expected to live in good health and in wholeness. We endeavour to support people to always care about their health and also raise their belief and trust in the creator. As for now we are doing this through our established KCCU medical Centre.
